Job Summary
Caregiver role providing essential daily living support to residents in a senior living community. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (dressing, grooming, peri-care, toileting, hygiene), meal service and dining room duties, light housekeeping and laundry, engaging residents in activities, ensuring safety and a dignified, caring atmosphere, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant communication. Must interact empathetically with residents, families, and staff; respond promptly to requests; document changes in residents’ health or wellbeing; work as part of a team; adhere to policies, attend trainings, and assist with onboarding of new employees. Requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform routine physical tasks; education requirement is a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience; prior caregiver experience or training is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
