Job Summary
Conduct daily care for seniors in a senior living building, assisting with activities of daily living and providing emotional support. Move residents independently up to 50 pounds and with assistance up to 190 pounds using mechanical devices. Maintain effective verbal and written communication with residents and staff while holding applicable state certifications. A minimum of one year of experience working with older adults is required, with English fluency essential. Shift options include day, evening, and NOC rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Possesses applicable certifications as required by state
- A minimum of one-year relevant experience working with older adults
- Ability to communicate effectively (in English), both verbally and in writing with residents and staff
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and up to 190 pounds with assistance of a second employee and/or mechanical devices
