Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one in-home care for seniors in Pennsylvania, assisting with errands, meal preparation, transportation, and personal hygiene including bathing and mobility. Provide companionship, medication reminders, and accurate documentation of daily activities in care logs. Maintain 85% Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) compliance for Medicaid-funded services and complete required background checks and competency evaluations. Work flexible weekday, weekend, or overnight shifts with opportunities for career advancement within this independent home care company.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to meet all job-related qualifications and licensing requirements
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
- Complete a minimum of forty (40) hours of experience or practical training and a competency evaluation
- State certification program completion
- Supervised practical training before having direct contact with a consumer
- Verification of prior experience
- Compliance with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirements
- Maintain a minimum 85% compliance rate for all visits
- Physicals and tuberculosis screenings
- Open availability
Desired Qualifications
- PCA, HHA, or CNA certification
