Job Summary
Assist clients with errands, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation. Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, and incontinence care. Offer companionship and emotional support while accurately documenting daily activities and health status in care logs. Remind clients of medication as needed. Maintain a minimum 85% Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) compliance rate for all visits. Complete a minimum of 40 hours of experience or practical training.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to meet all job-related qualifications and licensing requirements
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
- Direct care workers are required to complete a minimum of forty (40) hours of experience or practical training and a competency evaluation, or a state certification program
- All direct care workers of the company also receive supervised practical training before having direct contact with a consumer or verification of prior experience
- All employees must be fully compliant with EVV requirements from their date of hire
- Maintain a minimum 85% compliance rate for all visits
Desired Qualifications
- PCA, HHA, or CNA certification (preferred)
- Open availability strongly (preferred)
