Job Summary
Assist clients with errands, light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping, transportation, ambulation, and transfers. Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, and incontinence care while offering companionship and emotional support. Offer medication reminders as needed and accurately document daily activities, health status, and client well-being in care logs. Complete a minimum of forty (40) hours of experience or practical training, including supervised practical training before direct consumer contact. Maintain a minimum 85% compliance rate for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for Medicaid-funded services. Required Qualifications
- Ability to meet all job-related qualifications and licensing requirements
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
- Complete a minimum of forty (40) hours of experience or practical training and a competency evaluation
- State certification program
- Information regarding personal hygiene
- Safe transfer techniques
- Infection control
- Basic nutrition
- Supervised practical training before having direct contact with a consumer
- Verification of prior experience
- Compliance with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirements
- Maintain a minimum 85% compliance rate for all visits
Desired Qualifications
- PCA, HHA, or CNA certification (preferred)
- Open availability strongly (preferred)
