Job Summary
Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers. Accompany clients to grocery stores, doctor appointments, and pharmacy visits. Support active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care while documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing. Maintain client confidentiality in adherence to HIPAA. This role offers flexible schedules, weekend and evening shifts, and two Staff RNs for support. Competitive pay starts at $14.00 per hour with overtime available.
Required Qualifications
- CNA or PCA Certificate
- At least 2 years experience as a caregiver
- Minimum one (2) year of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience
- Certified CPR
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Adherence to HIPAA and maintaining client confidentiality
