Job Summary
The Caregiver/Behavior Aide provides direct client care to children with behavioral and developmental needs in a multidisciplinary pediatric care setting, under nursing supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living to promote independence, supporting engagement in daily programming, and helping create structured, developmentally appropriate environments. The role collaborates with nursing, therapy, and clinical leadership to reinforce consistent structure and positive behavior support, contributing to a cooperative, team-driven clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Experience with children with developmental, behavioral, or medical needs preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based clinical environment
- Basic computer skills and comfort learning electronic charting systems
- Current negative Tuberculosis test (PPD) required
- Current CPR (Basic Life Support) is required
