Job Summary
Deliver water, pitchers, and ice to resident rooms, answer call lights, and make beds while assisting nursing staff with routine patient tasks. Take residents to activities and meals, maintain clean environments including utility rooms, and ensure proper inventory of supplies and equipment. Notify the charge nurse of any changes in patient conditions and report equipment needing repair to the supervisor. This role requires a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening for full-time PM shift employment at Generations Healthcare's Assisted Living Facility.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Aptitude to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
- Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel
- Able to relate information concerning a resident's condition
- Successful completion of a background check
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical
- Successful completion of a drug screening
