Job Summary
Caregiver Assistant role in a senior living environment providing resident support across daily living activities, meals, and social engagement. Requires knowledge of dementia care, ability to follow service plans, effective communication with branch leadership, and completion of required CNA training within six months. CPR/First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain, strong organizational and time-management skills, and clear written/verbal communication are needed to support residents with compassion and dignity.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; or one-year related experience.
- Willing to successfully complete the Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire.
- Willing to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.
- CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain certification.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
- Competent in organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
