Job Summary
Provide personal hygiene assistance, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating, for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries. Remind clients to take prescribed medication and help with mobility around the house or outside for doctor's appointments and walks. Plan and prepare meals, complete client shopping, and perform housekeeping duties. Report any unusual incidents and act quickly in emergencies. Offer activities essential for daily living by assisting patients with meal serving tasks. Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily use. Work different shifts, including nights and weekends. Prioritize health and safety standards while acting compassionately in one-on-one settings.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
- Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver
- Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
