Job Summary
Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility transfers. Provide medication reminders, prepare meals according to dietary restrictions, and maintain a clean, safe environment. Engage clients in conversation to offer companionship while monitoring and reporting any changes in their condition to supervisors. This role offers flexible scheduling and PRN status with competitive hourly pay ranging from $16.00 to $18.00. Candidates must hold valid CPR and First Aid certifications, possess reliable transportation, and pass background checks and drug screenings.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Caregiver or similar role
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
- Two references
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
- Physical stamina and strength to perform the duties of the role
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Proof of a TB test taken within the last year showing clear results
Desired Qualifications
- CNA, HHA, and BLS/CPR training
