Job Summary
Conduct daily personal care for residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinent care. Support medication administration and assist with Activities of Daily Living such as eating, drinking, and mobility transfers. Monitor vital signs like blood pressure and pulse, then report health observations to the charge nurse. Reposition residents in bed and escort them throughout the community while providing emotional support and comfort. Maintain detailed daily reports at the end of each shift. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess strong listening skills, and pass background checks and drug tests.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old, or the age required by state regulations, whichever is higher.
- Must pass State and company background checks and drug test.
- Read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Medication supervision (within the scope of the state regulations).
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, although mandatory in certain states.
- Working experience alone, on a team, and on projects start to finish.
- Strong emotional intelligence and listening skills.
- Dedication to the medical field, especially towards working with the residents.
