Job Summary
Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care, including transporting clients to appointments and assisting with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care. Support daily living by helping with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping, while offering companionship and emotional support. Document care and provide reminders as directed. Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to fulfill these duties. Flexible scheduling includes weekday, weekend, awake overnight, and live-in shifts with competitive hourly pay plus referral bonuses. Companions & Homemakers, an independent Connecticut agency, treats caregivers as family and offers ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
Desired Qualifications
- Open availability preferred
- Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus
