Job Summary
Caregiver responsibilities include providing resident services with personal care, medication reminders, and facilitating social/recreational activities. Upholds residents' dignity, privacy, independence, and individual needs; reviews service plans and logs to adapt to changes in health or preferences; assists with medications as indicated; responds to emergency calls and maintains infection control and a safe, clean environment; supports meal services, housekeeping, and group activities; documents changes per procedures and reports abuse when observed. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, read/write English, and work in a team with a cheerful attitude; high school diploma or GED preferred and experience with seniors preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must meet in-service training requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience with seniors preferred
- Experience performing care-giving tasks preferred
