Job Summary
Caregiver role (7pm-7am) responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities (ADLs) including dressing, grooming, peri-care, toileting, hygiene, meal service, dining room assistance, light housekeeping, and laundry. Requires empathy, kindness, and respect in interactions with residents, families, visitors, and staff. Maintains a clean, safe environment, observes and reports health or emotional changes, participates in leisure activities, ensures proper sign-out procedures, adheres to HIPAA, and supports training and mentoring of new staff. Strong teamwork and positive attitude emphasized; high school diploma or GED preferred with 1-2 years related experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years related experience and/or training
- ability to perform essential duties and to comply with HIPAA
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate effectively in English
