Job Summary
Assist clients with daily living support including cooking, light cleaning, household chores, and personal care while maintaining their independence. Manage multiple client needs and maintain detailed care notes via a mobile app. Ensure client safety by immediately reporting suspected incidents of abuse or neglect to supervisors. Help clients attend appointments and run essential errands as ordered and approved. Possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and up-to-date liability insurance. Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and provide a negative TB test. Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, balancing, walking, and stooping. Work in various home environments from urban to remote areas with a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Up-to-date liability insurance
- Ability to read, write, and follow complex oral and written instructions
- Pass a criminal background check (including the Nurse's Aide Registry)
- Pass a drug screen
- Provide a negative TB test
- Undergo annual screenings
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, balancing, walking, and stooping
