Job Summary
In-Home Caregiver for hospice client in Middlebury, VT, providing non-medical support with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting), mobility transfers, light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, monitoring changes in health, medication reminders, and accompanying clients to appointments and errands. Flexible scheduling with 12-hour shifts available; positions open for part-time or full-time work. Weekly pay at $22/hour with opportunities for training and advancement; CPR/First Aid certification is a plus. Local office support and inclusive benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow care plans
- Effective communication with clients, families, and supervisors
- Compassionate, patient, reliable
- Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
