Job Summary
Caregiver providing ADL assistance, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration for residents across assisted living, nursing homes, memory care, and home & community care settings. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility support with equipment (e.g., Hoyer lifts), meal preparation tailored to dietary needs, EMR documentation, driving/transportation assistance when qualified, companionship, and memory-care support for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's. Requires strong communication, compassionate caregiving, and ability to work independently or in a team across days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexible hours described as part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in senior care, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments
- Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia care, and behavioral management techniques
- Ability to perform CPR/First Aid certification is highly desirable
