Job Summary
Provide career transition support for graduates and trainees, assess placement readiness, refer and coordinate accompanying support services in accordance with DOL, Center, and ResCare requirements, and ensure timely placement and retention of graduates/enrollees in quality jobs, the military, or further education opportunities. Develop job opportunities through direct contact with employers, One-Stops, JTPA, and State Employment Agencies; role includes promoting job development and outreach to diverse youth. Requires an associate’s degree (or bachelor’s) in related fields and two years related experience; valid driver’s license required. Remote in the Austin area with occasional office visits. Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or closely related field
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or closely related field; or Associate’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or closely related field, and two years related experience
- Two years related experience
- Experience may include successful Job Corps outreach and admissions experience or successful outreach and admissions experience with other youth development programs
- A valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record
