Job Summary
Assist customers to improve job-readiness skills in order to obtain and maintain in-house work, mobile work crews, shadowing, internships and competitive employment. Provide direct job coaching and training to individuals with disabilities and other barriers; demonstrate and teach specific on-the-job duties and soft-skills such as work ethic, communication and reliability. Provide on-site training and coaching to customers at employment or internship sites to ensure success. Help customers assimilate to new environments and/or utilize adaptive equipment. Conduct classroom workshop sessions to focus on writing resumes, completing job applications, and interviewing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of experience in training individuals who have disabilities and other barriers to employment
- Requires certification in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Certification
- DODD and all required trainings
- Must have valid OH driver’s license and personal car insurance
