Job Summary
The Career Technical Teacher will deliver CTE programming across multiple LA-region sites, driving career awareness through industry-aligned pathways, collaborating with CTE staff to develop and review pathways, employing approved curricula, and facilitating work-based learning experiences.Responsibilities include cultivating industry partnerships, supporting student attendance and transportation plans, maintaining detailed records, certifications as appropriate, and participating in department and school meetings and mandated state testing. The role requires differentiating instruction to meet diverse student needs, effective classroom management, professional communication with students and families, and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California CTE Credential or proof of preliminary credential qualification documentation
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
- Technical knowledge and expertise in designated CTE Pathway(s) and programs
- Proficient in MS Word, Email
