Job Summary
Manage all reportable data for Career & Technical Education in alignment with federal and state regulations, including CCMR, PEIMS, Perkins V, and Title XI. Design programs to track district-level data for decision-making and present results through graphs and charts to administration and board members. Provide detailed disaggregated reports on student growth measures and CCMR certifications, verifying course setup accuracy and synchronization across all campuses. Facilitate inter-district partnerships with SIS systems and the school finance department to ensure financial compliance, while leading campus-level audit processes. Train staff on data updates and collaborate with the CTE Director to analyze trends and recommend compliance changes. Work within Spring ISD to maintain accurate student data, prevent erroneous state reporting, and attend relevant meetings to share gathered information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from and accredited college or university
- Proficient knowledge of eSchool or student data management systems
- Minimum of two years of experience with CTE reporting
- Valid Texas Teacher certificate as required by the State Board of Education Certification
- Three years of classroom teaching experience
- Knowledge and understanding of state education laws as outlined in the PEIMS Data Standards for CTE reporting requirements
- Strong understanding of Career & Technical Education Accountability Standards
- Strong and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, G Suite and eSchool
- Effective use of charts and graphs to provide a visual explanation of data
- Knowledge and understanding of audit procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Global planning skills, organized, self-starter, independent worker, ability to analyze and evaluate data for accuracy and provide detailed reports to explain data in laymen's terms
- Physical mobility, standing, prolonged sitting, some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations
- Ability to interpret a variety of data
- Ability to interpret TEA Accountability requirements for CTE
- Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory
- Ability to be effective in both oral and written communication
- Ability to maintain emotional control under stress
- Extended hours may be required for the position
