Job Summary
Career Support Specialist responsible for registering job seeker customers, assisting in the resource room, administering assessments, guiding clients through center orientations, and connecting customers with career services including co-enrollments in workforce programs. Performs WIT application review and technical assistance, maintains customer data, provides employment counseling for placement challenges, conducts client interviews with assessment tools to evaluate education, experience, and skills, and disseminates labor market information. Provides backup front-desk coverage, monitors center flow, and supports remote-work needs as required. Preferred experience with WIT/TWIST and bilingual English/Spanish. Must have strong communication, computer skills (MS Office), and ability to work in a dynamic office environment with occasional travel.
