Job Summary
Facilitate workshops on career readiness, leadership development, and professional skills for Fellows and their mentors while serving as the primary point of contact for their professional growth. Recruit new students by attending campus events and presenting to assigned college contacts, then interview and evaluate applicants to track results. Provide career and professional development to ensure Fellows persist in college and become career ready, while analyzing outcomes, attendance, and retention data to improve program standing. Manage logistics for monthly Saturday workshops and group discussions, support volunteer-mentor pairs, and prepare Fellows for internship applications and interviews. Work in a hybrid environment with three days in-office and approximately nine Saturdays per year.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in career counseling or a related field
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Ability to work in a fast paced, results-driven environment
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening and mediation skills, with a high level of empathy
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Desire for continuous improvement and openness to feedback
- Willingness to work approximately 9 Saturdays per year, plus occasional evenings
- Proficiency with Canvas or other Learning Management Systems
- Experience in public speaking and speaking and presenting to a large audience
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Salesforce proficiency
