Job Summary
Promote quality career development by assisting counselors and students in identifying resources, selecting academic focuses, and administering career interest inventories. Provide educators, parents, and students with information on district career and technology education programs while coordinating community resources for career development activities. Utilize computer-assisted guidance systems to support student exploration of career clusters, and develop parent information on career development. Work cooperatively with others to fulfill these duties over a 200-day schedule.
Required Qualifications
- current and valid Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) certificate
- minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related area from a regionally accredited college or university
- proficient with use of Internet and Microsoft Office
Desired Qualifications
- two years of experience working with adolescents in the public school setting
