Career Specialist - Labette HS

Identify, recruit, and educate students facing difficulties between them and graduation while facilitating a successful transition to college, military, or career pathways using the JAG model. Develop positive relationships with students through project-based learning, trauma-informed care, and employer engagement to deliver student-centered programs. Instruct 35 to 60 students using activities such as student conferences centered around career, civic, social, and service-learning, while providing value-added instruction, support, and advocacy to graduates and non-graduates through follow-up services. Work full-time Monday through Friday during the school year with flexibility during the summer.
