Job Summary
Conduct employer and job development sales activities including calls, site visits, and networking at trade shows to meet daily, weekly, and modular activity goals. Coordinate student externship opportunities by contacting potential sites, supervising the process, administering presentations, and monitoring attendance and performance. Provide career skill development through resume workshops, job search coaching, and interviews to prepare students for employment. Maintain relationships with students and graduates, support licensure monitoring, and ensure accurate documentation of all records while adhering to compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree
- Bachelor's degree
- Three years of job development, career services, agency recruiting experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to students, employees, and clients
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Knowledge of proprietary software used to maintain student records
- Ability to regularly sit
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability to frequently walk
- Ability to occasionally stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move 10 pounds

- Ability to undergo a thorough background screening
- Ability to undergo education verification
- Ability to undergo county and national criminal background checks
- Ability to undergo a motor vehicle report
- Ability to undergo social security number trace/verification along with an address history search
- Ability to undergo drug testing
- Ability to undergo a Fraud and Abuse Control Information System check
- Ability to undergo verification for access to the National Student Loan Database System
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred three years of job development, career services, agency recruiting experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Required degree(s) must be from institutions accredited by recognized U.S. accrediting agencies
- Degrees from non-U.S. institutions are recognized only if equivalence has been established and provided
