Job Summary
Career Services Advisor responsible for preparing students to graduate and enter the workforce, maintaining the Employment database and records, and assisting unemployed students with part-time employment while attending school. Responsibilities include providing employment-related communication to students, assisting the Director with follow-up reports on employment outcomes and employer satisfaction, researching local and national job opportunities, maintaining placement documentation, assisting students with resumes and interviewing skills, and supporting student goal achievement and public relations activities such as job fairs and open houses. The role involves ensuring compliance with accreditation and school policies, and working collaboratively to achieve placement goals.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in related field and minimum two years of Career Services or related experience and/or training
- Candidates must be able to successfully pass a criminal history check and drug test
