Career Services Advisor (On-site)

Proactively acquire new externship sites through cold calling, direct telephone sales, and networking, then pair students with optimal placements based on skills assessments. Coordinate externship interviews, conduct site visits to monitor progress, and facilitate evaluations with supervisors. Advise graduates on job search strategies and maintain accurate records of call logs and attendance within Campus Nexus. Generate placement reports to track outcomes and participate in Advisory Board meetings to share retention and placement data. This role serves as the vital link between Pima Medical Institute and the local healthcare community, combining sales, recruitment, and student mentorship to launch healthcare careers in Houston.
