Job Summary
Act as the first point of contact in the Career Ready Hub, delivering friendly guidance on CV reviews, internship strategies, and platform usage while sharing resources and connecting students with relevant services. Manage daily operations by inputting and tracking Career Ready Hub data, maintaining the professional image of the space, and ensuring confidentiality. Support professional application preparation through peer-to-peer feedback on portfolios and interviews, and build relationships with students, alumni, and staff via weekly meetings. Dedicate 15% of time to creative and social media management, monitoring trends, promoting Careers & Industry Relations activities, and assisting with design, video production, and live streams. Allocate 15% to event operations by planning online and offline workshops, following up with stakeholders for feedback, and analyzing insights to suggest improvements. Commit 20 hours per week for the 06-month contract duration, reporting to the Manager, Career Development and Industry Relations.
Required Qualifications
- Current RMIT student in any program/major
- GPA of 2.5 and above
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, responsible, reliable, proactive and confident team player with the ability to meet deadlines
- Familiar with design applications and tools (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign or Canva) and knowledge of video editing software
- Commit 20 hours/week with 3+ months of employment
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
- Ability to display appropriate behaviours in line with the position and RMIT Values
- English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam
- IELTS General 5.5 (or equivalent Linguaskill 170)
- Must be a Vietnamese citizen
