Job Summary
The Career Planner develops and connects job seekers with employment opportunities by recruiting qualified candidates for job orders, screening for technical and soft skills, and guiding placement through training and employment plans. He/she identifies candidate barriers and refers to appropriate resources, provides career advisement and individualized employment plans, and maintains case notes to ensure program requirements are met. Responsibilities include connecting job seekers to open positions and to training/development services, acquiring and maintaining programmatic competency, and delivering Extreme Customer Service in interactions with employers and job seekers. The role requires office-based work with occasional travel, a Bachelor’s degree (or 3 years equivalent experience) in related fields, two years of staffing/recruiting/workforce development experience, strong communication and data-entry skills, and a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Social Services, Human Resources, Communications, Business, or 3 years equivalent experience is required.
- Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce development with at least one years' experience working with computer systems for data entry and data review required.
- Must possess demonstrated proficiency with verbal and written communication skills as well as demonstrated customer service skills and computer skills.
- Valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance.
