Job Summary
Career Planner position supports employers by connecting job seekers to open roles, providing career advisement and workforce development services, conducting interviews to assess needs, developing individualized employment plans, and maintaining case management and documentation. Primary focus areas include employer recruiting collaboration, aiding job seekers in improving employment skills, identifying barriers, facilitating referrals to jobs and training, and ensuring programmatic compliance. Requires strong customer service, communication, teamwork, data entry, and knowledge of employment practices; valid driver’s license and insurance are required. Bachelor's degree in relevant fields is required with 2+ years of staffing/recruiting/workforce development experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social services, Human Resources, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience is required
- Minimum of two years' experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce development with at least one year's experience working with computer systems for data entry and data review required
