Job Summary
Conduct orientation and interviews with individual students to evaluate skills, work history, and personality. Develop personalized career and training plans based on student input and family or employer permissions. Teach job readiness skills and facilitate long-term employment goals while building collaborative relationships with students, community businesses, universities, and colleges. Post weekly job listings, provide information on community activities and workshops, and perform frequent employer and home visits to monitor attendance and performance. Maintain student records on work and volunteer hours and submit weekly reports on community services and employment metrics. Requires a Bachelor's degree, teaching certification, and HQT status. Full-time role with occasional travel.
