Job Summary
Career Navigator I at Goodwill in Casa Grande focused on helping job seekers through the Career Services Center. Responsible for staffing the CSC, orienting clients to services, leading skills development workshops (Career Skills, Money Skills, Workplace Skills, Digital Skills), assisting with resume development, job searches, interview skills, and employer/agency outreach. Interfaces with Workforce Development and Retail division staff, the public, employers, and community service providers. Open Monday–Friday 8:00–5:00; CSC hours 9:00–4:00; travel across Goodwill sites as needed. Requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and 3+ years of direct, case-managed experience; strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality and professional communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, Vocational Rehabilitation, Counseling, Psychology, or related preferred
- At least three (3) years of experience providing direct case managed services to clients preferred
- Familiar with job market, job search techniques and local community resources and support services
- Experienced with conducting workshops and/or classes using cloud based teaching resources
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and work independently running a center
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all individuals
- Must be able to travel and transfer to all Goodwill sites as necessary
