Job Summary
Facilitate training in simulated work and soft skills development while implementing evidence-based teaching practices like parallel instruction and differentiated split class. Develop curricula and lesson plans to meet specific standards, then partner with Transition Coaches to assess student strengths, interests, and goals. Create individualized strategies and track progress through outcome measurements, ensuring accurate record documentation and compliance with quality initiatives. Transport students as needed and assist with onsite job experiences at community employer locations. Requires a Bachelor's degree, two years classroom experience, valid driver's license, and Microsoft Office proficiency. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Minimum two (2) years of work experience in a classroom setting
- Experience designing evidence-based, multi-modal learning curricula for audiences with diverse needs
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong Excel skills (including formulas, graphs, and pivot tables)
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record

- Special Education
- QIDP certified
- certification eligible for QIDP
- DSP certification
- Experience working directly with adults with developmental disabilities
