Job Summary
Manage a broad spectrum of patients across Cardiac, Surgical, Medical, and Rehabilitation specialities on a busy 47-bed general ward. Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals under the guidance of a Visiting Medical Officer to ensure evidence-based care and the highest standards of patient outcomes. Demonstrate competency in advanced life support measures and effectively manage a wide range of clinical presentations while working independently and within a team environment. This role requires flexibility to handle on-call components, weekend, and evening shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Current and relevant AHPRA registration
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience
- Previous experience on a general medical/surgical ward
- Demonstrated skills and clinical knowledge to manage a broad spectrum of presentations including medical, surgical and rehabilitation patients
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
- Competent in providing advanced life support measures
- The flexibility to handle on call components along with weekend and evening shifts
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- Working-With-Children Check
- Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
