Job Summary
The Career & Life Design Specialist at UNLV Career Services is responsible for enhancing student and alumni career readiness through innovative career development facilitation and life design coaching. The role includes advising undergraduate and graduate students, providing constructive feedback on job search materials, conducting mock interviews, interpreting career assessments, and creating engaging workshops. This position requires collaboration with campus advisors and engagement in new student orientation, alongside supporting major career services events. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience, with a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 1-3 years of experience in counseling/coaching, higher education, career & professional development or related field
- Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in counseling/coaching, higher education, career & professional development or related field
- Experience with career and life design coaching
- Experience with career services delivery to diverse college student populations
