Job Summary
Conduct a six-month rotational development program across poultry, pet food, and animal nutrition plants, gaining hands-on experience in live operations, supply chain, sales, finance, and continuous improvement. Lead special projects driving innovation and business metrics while receiving classroom training, mentoring, and on-the-job coaching. Participate as a team member by fostering cohesiveness, implementing team concepts, and resolving organizational issues. After graduation, transition into a Production Supervisor role where you lead and coach team members, ensure safety, manage production lines, and drive continuous improvement. Requires extensive regional travel during the initial phase and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to lead, take charge, and desire to take care of people
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must be familiar with computers and be proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Minimum 2 years of education with 2 years experience or a Bachelors degree or 4 years of related experience
- Must be able to work in various temperatures
- Must be able to move about in a manufacturing environment and surrounding property
- Must be able to enter and locate information on a computer
- Must be able to visually verify information, often in small print
- Must be able to communicate with Customers, Vendors, or Employees via telephone, in person, and/or electronic mail
- Must be able to present information to small or large groups
- Must be able to travel extensively during the initial six-month rotational program
- Must be able to accept responsibility for special projects that drive a mindset of innovation and continuous improvement
- Must be able to lead, coach, motivate team members
- Must be able to keep team members safe
- Must be able to take ownership of continuous improvement
- Must be able to participate as a member of the Team
- Must be able to participate in ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies
- Must be able to attend appropriate team meetings
- Must be able to foster strong cohesiveness regarding all major issues
- Must be able to quickly identify any areas that lack cohesiveness
- Must be able to work with the team in a supportive manner to resolve issues
- Must be able to look for ways to achieve synergy possible within the larger organization

- Must be able to perform other duties as necessary in support of business objectives
- Must be able to accept Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by facility
