Job Summary
Five-day immersive program to accelerate a student’s path from university to a full-time software career at Optiver. Learn how technology powers trading in global markets, gain hands-on experience building and testing high-performance, low-latency systems, participate in tech workshops to build trading algorithms, and receive mentorship from educators, traders, and engineers. Able to travel with travel and accommodation covered if residing outside Singapore; program located in Singapore with on-site participation in Shanghai pathway options. Eligible candidates are university students graduating in 2026/2027 or earlier, studying Computer Science, Software/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering or related fields, and possessing knowledge of C++, Java, or Python for the technical assessment.
Required Qualifications
- University student graduating in 2026/2027 or earlier
- China working rights
- Studying or studied Computer Science, Software / Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering or a similarly technical degree
- Knowledge of object-oriented design and development concepts
- Experience with C++, Java or Python is required for our technical assessment

- A Chinese citizen or Chinese permanent resident. HK, TW/ Macau Resident with MTP.
