Job Summary
Senior Project Engineer to manage the technical scope for delivering refurbishment and conversion documentation of subsea oil and gas well control equipment (subsea trees, tubing, heads, and ancillary equipment). Develops strong relationships with shop technicians, customers, Customer Service, and Installation Engineering; participates in project planning and scheduling; creates work instructions, BOMs, drawings, and hydraulic schematics to mobilize, refurbish, upgrade/convert, maintain, and preserve equipment; provides workshop and troubleshooting support; prepares Service Orders with ownership of parts and tooling allocations; conducts physical inspection in the workshop; supports Field non-conformance investigations (RCAs) and SN resolution; collaborates with other departments on equipment designs; identifies root causes of problems; prepares reports including Design Reviews and After-Action Reviews; participates or leads product and task standardization projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior Project Engineer-related occupation
- Experience leading Maintenance, Modifications, Refurbishment, and Repair (MMR) of Subsea Production Systems
- Experience analyzing XT system requirements and specifications for subsea equipment functionality
- Experience providing engineering review of documentation to meet project requirements
- Experience collaborating with multiple departments on alternative parts
- Experience participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and technical support
- Experience with common industry standards and applying them in technical decisions
