Job Summary
Career Development Teacher delivers career development and life skills classes to middle school students, monitors academic achievement, collaborates with staff to implement 504 Plans and IEPs, maintains student records, prepares comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum maps and Arkansas State Frameworks, uses technology to support instruction, conducts parent/guardian conferences, and partners with administrators, counselors, and teachers to support students’ academic and career development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in content area
- Valid Arkansas teaching certificate in Middle School Science or be eligible to receive one
- A valid Arkansas Teacher's License or be eligible to receive a valid Arkansas Teacher's License with appropriate certification in career development
