Job Summary
Career Development Specialist with Real Futures works with youth to address barriers, engages with local communities and schools to provide Transition to Work information, sources education and employment opportunities, develops and implements individual service plans, builds relationships with local employers, training providers and community organizations, and supports clients to identify skills and secure sustainable employment; role involves conducting assessments, client rapport-building, and participation in local community events; benefits include professional development, supportive culture, leave provisions, wellbeing resources, and accessibility support, with full working rights and a valid driver’s licence preferred in Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Full working rights in Australia
- Current driver’s licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
- Australia History Criminal Check
- Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
- Ability to engage with youth and community organizations
- Experience or ability to create individual service plans
- Ability to build relationships with employers and training providers
