Job Summary
Conduct intake, eligibility screening, and job readiness assessments with participants. Develop individualized employment service plans and regularly meet with clients in-person or via phone/video to ensure progress toward professional, personal, and academic goals. Provide support during job searches, higher education applications, and exam preparation while referring clients to vocational trainings and certification programs. Oversee barrier removal before and after job placement, ensuring access to housing, healthcare, childcare, and other resources. Maintain detailed case notes, update attendance logs, and submit weekly reports to meet enrollment and placement targets.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-year degree
- One to three (1-3) years of experience working with clients/participants in a workforce development, social services, or community-based context
- Strong communication skills
- Professional demeanor
- Sound judgment
- Strong organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant experience and/or advanced studies in social services
- Experience developing individualized service and/or employment plans for participants
- Experience and/or passion for serving individuals from disadvantaged and underserved populations, including but not limited to public assistance recipients, justice-involved individuals, persons with physical and/or mental disabilities, and individuals experiencing homelessness
- Experience with Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed, and/or Two-Generational methods
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, and/or SharePoint
- Understanding of workforce development, employment services, and adult education
