Job Summary
Deliver engaging teaching, coaching, and assessment sessions for the Level 6 Career Development Professional Apprenticeship Standard, alongside Levels 3, 4, and additional careers education programmes. Manage a caseload of learners by providing remote support through sessions, reviews, and progress meetings, while preparing participants for End Point Assessment. Ensure programme delivery aligns with Ofsted Education Inspection Framework expectations and maintains compliance with awarding body and funding requirements. Maintain accurate learner records using e-portfolio systems and collaborate with employers to support successful progression. Embed safeguarding, Prevent, and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion principles within daily delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Level 6 qualification in Career Guidance, Careers Education, Learning & Development, or equivalent
- Recognised assessor qualification such as TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/D33, or equivalent
- Recognised teaching qualification such as Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training (DET), PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent
- Experience delivering apprenticeship standards and vocational qualifications
- Experience within Further Education (FE), Independent Training Providers (ITPs), apprenticeships, or employability programmes
- Knowledge of End Point Assessment (EPA) requirements
- Understanding of Ofsted EIF, quality assurance, and apprenticeship compliance
- Experience supporting SEND, disadvantaged, or vulnerable learners
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and learner engagement skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and employer relationship skills
- Confidence using e-portfolio systems and digital learning platforms
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a learner caseload
