Job Summary
Career Development Coordinator for MFIP Gateway provides comprehensive case management and employment coaching to MFIP participants in Minnesota. The role guides guests toward self-sufficiency through employment, training, and education, developing Individual Career Development Plans (ICDPs), coordinating workforce training and supportive services, ensuring program compliance, and facilitating work readiness and soft skills development to strengthen work readiness and employment prospects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in vocational rehabilitation, education, human resources, business, social services, or related field
- two (2) years MFIP and adults vocational or employment related experience OR Associate degree with three (3) years MFIP and adults career/workforce development experience OR high school diploma with seven (7) years MFIP and adult career/workforce development experience
- Experience in case management, workforce development, or human services (preferably MFIP)
- Strong understanding of MFIP program guidelines, policies and documentation requirements
- Ability to develop goal-oriented career plans and track guest progress in alignment with MFIP expectations
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills for diverse populations
- Experience in employment coaching, job development or employer engagement
- Proficiency in case documentation systems and data tracking to ensure program compliance
- GCDF or CWDP certification preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to meet driving standards
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
