Job Summary
Greet and connect with customers to cultivate lasting relationships and drive repeat business. Accurately process financial transactions, including check cashing, money transfers, and loans/pawns, while educating clients on personalized financial services. Maintain store cleanliness and appearance, manage cash drawers, and uphold security protocols to foster a safe work environment. Participate in in-store and community events, external marketing, and ongoing training to ensure compliance. Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor with customers and colleagues
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to accurately enter data
- Proficiency in using phones
- Proficiency in using POS system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in using other computer systems
- Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Personal vehicle to use throughout the workday
- Ability to meet the physical demands of this position
- Ability to remain in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time
- Ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds
- Ability to move inside and outside of the store
- Ability to operate mechanical controls, such as a keyboard
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in check cashing
- Experience in document verification
- Experience in money order processing
- Prior cash handling experience
- Prior cash drawer/vault management experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
