Job Summary
Coach interns and recent graduates to articulate their technical and leadership contributions, refine resumes and LinkedIn profiles, and execute focused job search strategies aligned with entry-level tech roles. Conduct realistic mock interviews, debrief actual interviews to extract learning, and support offer evaluation and negotiation while reinforcing self-advocacy. Coordinate weekly sessions with the Program Director to sequence career activities without overwhelming interns during active project work, ensuring clear handoffs to residency coordinators and accurate tracking of intern growth using national tools.
Required Qualifications
- Experience coaching early-career professionals or adult interns through job search and career transitions
- Strong understanding of entry-level tech roles, hiring processes, and employer expectations
- Ability to coach confidence without inflating readiness—helping interns see what they've built clearly
- Strong communication and feedback skills
- Comfort holding boundaries and naming hard truths with care
- Alignment with strengths-based, effort-driven learning models
- Existing network in the local tech ecosystem or a demonstrated ability to build one quickly
- Familiarity with technical roles and project-based portfolios
- Ability and willingness to learn
- Experience coaching first-generation professionals
- Knowledge of salary negotiation and early-career workplace dynamics
