Job Summary
Champion career goals by helping individuals identify strengths, interests, and employment objectives. Provide career counseling, guide job searches, develop resumes, and prepare candidates for interviews and workplace soft skills. Assess employment strengths through targeted evaluations to align opportunities with individual abilities. Coach for workplace success via individualized, onsite job coaching and task analysis to help individuals learn job responsibilities. Build employer partnerships through outreach, networking, and hiring events while educating businesses on inclusive employment benefits. Stay connected to local hiring trends and support workplace accommodations by identifying adaptive equipment needs. Maintain documentation, manage deadlines, and coordinate required background checks and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- 21+ with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift, bend, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Must submit to BCII/FBI background checks and Nurse Aide & Abuser Registry checks
- Must maintain American Red Cross or equivalent First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid State of Ohio driver's license and ability to meet ARC Voyagers' insurability standards
- Reliable transportation
- Must complete required DODD training upon hire
- Must obtain and maintain a Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) credential or obtain the credential within 12 months of hire, as assigned
- Must obtain Working Incentive Planning certification within the first six months of employment, as assigned
- Physical exam may be required based on job assignment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience providing employment services to individuals with disabilities is a plus
