Job Summary
Conduct intake, eligibility screening, and job readiness assessments with participants while developing individualized employment service plans. Oversee barrier removal before and after job placement to ensure access to housing, healthcare, childcare, and other resources. Regularly meet with clients in person or via phone/video to support their progress toward professional and academic goals, including referrals to vocational training and certification programs. Maintain detailed case notes, update attendance logs, and submit weekly reports to meet enrollment and placement targets. Work in a socially conscious organization dedicated to helping low-income and underserved job seekers achieve self-sufficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four-year degree
- One to three (1-3) years of experience working with clients/participants in a workforce development, social services, or community-based context
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills
- Professional demeanor
- Sound judgment
- Strong organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- relevant experience and/or advanced studies in social services a plus
- Experience developing individualized service and/or employment plans for participants preferred
- Experience and/or passion for serving individuals from disadvantaged and underserved populations, including but not limited to public assistance recipients, justice-involved individuals, persons with physical and/or mental disabilities, and individuals experiencing homelessness
- Experience with Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed, and/or Two-Generational methods a definite plus
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, and/or SharePoint preferred
- Understanding of workforce development, employment services, and adult education a definite plus
