Job Summary
Career Advisor responsible for building one-on-one relationships with clients to aid in overcoming barriers to employment, delivering case management and follow-up, conducting orientations, coordinating workshops, identifying job opportunities, and developing workforce curricula. Role includes maintaining detailed client documentation, ensuring contract-required outcomes, collaborating with business services to align training with available jobs, producing reports, and supporting compliance standards. Requires strong communication, leadership, and training skills, with a Bachelor's degree and two years of hands-on career advisement and development experience. Proficiency in MS Office and Google Docs is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, social services, healthcare and/or communications
- Two years of experience in career advisement and development, workshop facilitation, developing workforce curriculum, public speaking and content development
- Ability to maintain flexibility as needs of contract or contractor require
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office and Google Docs
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of a vast array of occupations and career paths, ideally healthcare-related
Desired Qualifications
